Whole

Delicate twigs, stretch out to reach daybreak
And fuse to shape branches, declaring a stand
Against the torrent, and give fruition to Tree.
What thin, light strands upon a body, for warmth
That endures through prickling frost, and gives
Identity to the Owner. Recall abstruse
Threads that marry each other, to conceive links,
To arrange a hale vine and carry a boulder.
Observe unrivaled snowflakes, as they fall
Each not precedented before their debut
Of dancing, prancing, down the stairs of the wind,
To form a shimmering cloak for the ground.
What molded bodies, by crumbs, and flecks,
Without these particles, become worthless wrecks.
